Emma Watson shot to fame as the bookish but adventuress wizard, Hermione Granger, in the Harry Potter films, based on the books penned by J.K Rowling. Since then as she has grown older Emma Watson has since evolved to become an in-demand fashion icon and model in a relatively brief period of time. Her most recent success has been helping to transform the fortunes of Burberry.

In 2008, the Daily Mail reported that Watson was given access to her a £10.5m fortune on her 18th birthday. Despite her riches, she reportedly still uses public transport.

However, in the two years since she gained access to her riches she has doubled her wealth. In the 2010 Sunday Times Rich List she was placed 10th with £22m and her co-star Rupert Grint, who plays Ronald Weasley, was 12th with £20m.

The star's true progression was revealed in February this year, when at 19, she was named Hollywood's highest paid actress - toppling perhaps more established actresses such as Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz in the financial stakes. She is reported to have earned £10m for the final duo of instalments of the Harry Potter series.

After earning several awards and more than £10m for her work so far on the 'Harry Potter' series, Watson established herself on the fashion scene through becoming a regular on the front row at fashion shows. She consequently signed a profitable deal with British fashion house Burberry in 2009 after being noticed by their creative director, Christopher Bailey. He claimed she was the 'obvious choice' for their campaign. Watson described the campaign as the 'biggest ego boost of my life'. The deal already is more than likely to increase her already impressive wealth by around six figures, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Watson set a new record as 'highest average box office gross for an actress' and came 14th overall in the list of actors and their earnings, compiled by Vanity Fair.

At the relatively young age of 19 she raked in a phenomenal £20m during 2009, beating Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker (second with £15m) and Reese Witherspoon (fourth with £13m) to the top spot in the female list in the Vanity Fair list of top paid actresses.

Watson was calculated to be worth £22m earlier this year and the release of the two final installments of the magical series along with her modelling career show that her affluence can, and will only increase in the foreseeable future; meanwhile, we can all eagerly anticipate the release of the penultimate film released on the 19th November this year.

Bit of a slow week, so I figured I’d pull a BSCkids and collect the recent previews of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows or HP7 for cool folks – offered up during ABC Family’s recent Harry Potter Weekend. We had recently highlighted them individually, but I figure having them all in one place might be more useful and convenient for those who caught one and not the others. If it’s good enough for BSCkids, it’s good enough for us! July had already also brought us a new teaser poster (featuring Hogwarts aflame!) and a trailer via LEGO (which is not the same as the trailer that was attached to Eclipse the week before).Deathly Hallows returns Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert in what is the final chapter of the adaptation of Rowling’s work to film. It will be split not two parts, the first hitting theaters on November 19th. The concluding film follows on July 15, 2011, and both will be filmed in 3-D under the eyes of direction of David Yates.

Emma Watson and One Night Only frontman George Craig 'just good friends'

When we saw them snogging at Glastonbury we assumed that Harry Potter star Emma Watson and rocker George Craig were, er, potty about one another...

But now the One Night Only frontman insists they are "just good friends".
As Emma was snapped returning from an all-girls' holiday in Thailand, right, we asked George what was going on. Catching him ahead of One Night Only's exclusive set for MTV Presents in Camden on August 19, he insisted: "We're just good friends, we've only ever been friends." Right.

He said they plan to crack America next year, as their "anthemic" sound "appeals more to the US market". Emma is at uni there. How convenient!

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has confirmed dating model George Craig. The brainy girl of the wizard movie revealed the duo came close while shooting for Burberry ad campaign together earlier this year. The actress fuelled rumours of romance with Craig - after she was spotted in London with him earlier in June. Speculations also sparked when when Watson spent time with Craig, who also fronts rock band One Night Only, at music festival Glastonbury earlier this week.

And in an interview with Jo Whiley from Radio 1 during the music event, Watson confirmed she is dating Craig.When asked what their celebrity dating nickname would be, she said: "We haven't (heard one yet). Watage? It wouldn't really (work),” reports the New York Post.

Watson laughed when she was asked: "Have you been together ages or is it new?"

And replied: "We've been friends since the Burberry shoot. And when I was in the States, George was taking me through a lot of his music as he was recording it. I couldn't believe (how good the music was). I'm a big fan. Everything he did was amazing."

Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe raced like “maniacs” to compete with each other when filming ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’.

The films’ director David Yates revealed what went on behind the scenes as he revealed preview footage – of a scene where Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and friends Ron Wesley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) attempt to avoid capture by Snatchers - on ABC Family in America last Wednesday (07.07.10).

David revealed: "They run like maniacs and it's because they are trying to out-compete each other."Dan wants to run faster than Emma. Emma wants to run faster than Dan and Rupert just wants to be anywhere to try to keep up with the pair of them".

Rupert revealed that he was surprised by the competitive nature of his co-stars saying: "I didn't realise it was going to be that fast actually, I was just keeping up with Dan and Emma."

Emma admitted her excitement about the fast paced scene.

She said: “We’re running through the forest being chased by snatcher and it’s going to be a very exciting sequence”.

Daniel explained that the action of this movie had made him a lot fitter than before.

He said "I consider myself to be in relatively good shape but this film could make me a lot fitter and healthier because it's some serious running, climbing, jumping, everything!"

‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ is set to be released as two separate movies – the first instalment is due in November 2010 and the second is set for cinemas in July 2011.

In the "exciting sequence" previewed in the recent trailer, the trio attempt to avoid capture by Snatchers.

But others blamed "creative accounting" as the film was listed with costs of just 100 million pounds."If these figures are true, then Warner Brothers have turned this practice into a whole new ball game. If one of the most successful movie franchises in history cannot officially make money, what can?," an insider said.

Sources claimed it was a way of preventing huge payouts to stars on a percentage share of profits.

Lord knows what they expect to find. What the hell is an 'upskirt shot' by Perez Hilton? Lord knows, there's more than enough 'exposure' for this kind of thing on the net. And when you get right down to it - one vagina looks pretty much the same as another. Especially since we had Brazilian waxing. Plenty of vaginas, breasts and nudity out there. Harry Potter ‘Deathly Hallows’ trailer – Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe!

ust five days ago the good word in Harry Potter news was that Twilighters were going to get to see a brand new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one on June 30th during screenings of the third Twilight Saga film, Eclipse. You don’t have to wait.

The actress who formerly played a student wizard in Harry Potter has confirmed she's drank a potion of love.

Emma Watson, 20, revealed her new romance with U.K rocker George Craig in an interview with BBC Radio 1.

"I thought everything he did was amazing, and I just wanted to be involved in some way," the young actress fawned about her new guy.

Watson and Craig, front man for the Brit rock ban "One Night Only," have been seen "punting" around the Glastonbury Music Festival in the U.K.The two recently appeared together as a pair of love-struck dogs in a music video for Craig's band. Watson described it as "an ode to Lady and the Tramp."

Watson started acting in the Harry Potter movies at the age of 9. The seventh installment of the story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is slated for a fall 2010 release.

"The last week of filming Emma had a dinner at her place, and we spoke about the best moments of filming, our secret crushes on set – all kinds of random questions," says James Phelps, who plays mischievous Fred Weasley in the movies. "But all the answers to these questions will stay in that room!" Phelps and his twin brother Oliver, along with Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Michael Gambon and Tom Felton were in Orlando Wednesday night for the grand opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando. Also on hand: Potter author J.K. Rowling, who attended the event with her husband Neil Murray but didn't speak to the press.

Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the teen wizard, attended the red carpet bash at Universal Studio Resort in Orlando, Florida, along with the likes of Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Michael Gambon (Dumbledore).

Author JK Rowling also turned up to greet fans and the cast stood on a stage waving their magic wands.
It is not know why Watson couldn't attend but the actress did visit the theme park last month.

For the grand opening of the theme park, which opens to the public tomorrow, an illuminated Hogwarts Castle was flooded with smoke.

The park features a Hogwarts Express and the city of Hogsmeade which true to the books has a Zonko's joke shop, post office Owl Post and sweet shop Honeydukes.
