Ten years is enough

‘Harry Potter’ stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson said they would not star in the film series again – even if another book was written. The actors have spent the past decade making the wizarding franchise but think that ten years is enough. The author, JK Rowling, said on the ‘Oprah Winfrey’ show that the series might not end at seven novels as she was tempted to write more.

But Watson, 20, who plays the character Hermione Granger, said she would turn down the role. She told Scholastic magazine: “Oh, my goodness – no, I wouldn’t return, it feels so complete what we’ve done. It would just be weird, no way – it would just be really strange.”

And Radcliffe, 21, who plays the lead boy wizard role, isn’t too keen on the idea either. He added: “No, probably not is the answer because 10 years is enough, I think the films have reached a rather perfect and wonderful conclusion.”

The seventh and penultimate flick ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part One’ will be released next month, with its sequel coming next year.

Emma Watson's kissing woes

Emma Watson didn’t pucker up for her kiss scenes – instead, she had to "grit her teeth" during the filming of the latest Harry Potter movie when she was called on to kiss both Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe. The next installment of the wizard franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly.

Watson revealed that she was quite uncomfortable while filming the scenes because she struggled to separate Grint and Radcliffe from their onscreen roles.

"Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough. Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship. Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty b**ody hard, it really was,” The Daily Star quoted Watson as saying.

Emma “That required a huge amount of professionalism. I really had to grit my teeth and be like, 'I am Hermione, this is Harry - stop thinking that it's Emma kissing Dan. It's not. It's all good.'"

Watson is a clever woman

Tom plays evil wizard Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, which have been successfully adapted into a movie franchise from British author J.K. Rowling’s children’s books.

On screen, Draco is the arch-enemy of the movie’s main characters; Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, played by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson respectively. But in real-life there is no such bad feeling, with Tom praising his female co-star for her incredible mind and good manners. He admits they don’t spend much time together outside work though.
iPhone
“I haven’t seen so much of her,” he told British newspaper The Daily Mail.

“She is very professional and seems like an intelligent lady.”

The 23-year-old actor says he sympathises with Emma over all the attention she receives from the public. There has been speculation over the young star’s love life as she has been linked to a string of men, and Tom says he couldn’t cope with so much interest in his life.

“I would not want there to be a big hoo-ha about what I am doing. I would want to do it really quietly,” he added.

Emma Watson: 'I'm like Dory the fish'

Emma Watson has admitted that she is not interested in being famous.

The Harry Potter actress told magazine that she reminded herself of Dory, a fish voiced by Ellen DeGeneres in Finding Nemo.

Discussing how she had stayed grounded after achieving global fame as Hermione Granger in the movie series, Watson said: "Harry Potter was entirely filmed in a studio in the middle of nowhere, in the most stinky, leaky, falling-apart shed you can ever imagine, and I went to that place every day for ten years.

"Yes, I made these extremely famous movies, but everything was inside a bubble, with the same people. Everything was really contained. The crew became my family. I wasn’t involved with all the Hollywood stuff, that would've made me feel really disturbed and lost. No-one ever treated me as if I was different from anyone, nobody treated us as stars.

"There's also my breeding. My family - and I can't really make enough emphasis in this - isn't interested in the artistic environment at all. In my house, nobody watches movies, they are academic-oriented, they are just not interested in this.

"Me being an actress is not their dream made true. They just want to watch me happy. Their main focus is not my stardom.

"That’s how I am. Fame never attracted me. Actually, I'm quite shy, I've never liked attention and money. I feel myself a little bit like Finding Nemo's Dory - I just keep swimming and don't turn around to watch the mess."

Emma Watson Likes It Casual And Classic

Actress Emma Watson says that she does not like to follow the latest trends in fashion because she considers herself a normal girl and would like to behave and dress that way!

The popular Hermione Granger from the “Harry Potter” series further explains that people who follow fashion trends look all the same in her eyes, and since she would always like to stand out from the rest in a crowd, she chooses to wear clothes of her choice, clothes which look good on her and complement her personality.

Though fashion is not her cup of tea, Emma Watson still likes to keep herself updated on the latest trends that rule the ramp and so the actress is a regular reader of fashion magazines published in the US, claims excerpts from a recently published interview.

Whatever she puts on, the actress stresses that she always keeps the comfort factor in mind and makes sure that her clothes help her to remain relaxed all through the day.

Speaking to Britain's SFX magazine about the scenes, she said: 'Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough also. Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship.

'Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty bloody hard, it really was. That required a huge amount of professionalism. I really had to grit my teeth and be like: 'I am Hermione, this is Harry - stop thinking that it's Emma kissing Dan. It's not. It's all good.''

Style wizard Emma Watson casts her magic over ethical fashion

24Aug 2010 - She remains best known for playing the youthful wizard Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. But now Emma Watson is weaning teenage shoppers away from mass-produced chainstore clothes in favour of ethical fashions made on a small scale in some of the world's poorest nations.Watson's latest collection for People Tree, which works using strict Fairtrade and environmental guidelines, will be launched at "a garden party to make a difference", a 12-day environmental festival organised by the Prince of Wales that will be held next month in the gardens of his London home, Clarence House.

Fashion experts say Watson, now 20, has a considerable amount of influence among girls and young women who have watched her gradually shed the image of the somewhat frumpy Hermione to emerge as a fully fledged fashion icon. "I think a lot of young women have grown up with her, seen her develop her style," said Emily Sheffield, deputy editor of British Vogue. "She is a classic English rose."

Traditionally, ethical fashion is a sector associated with older consumers more concerned with provenance than design. But Orsola de Castro, co-curator of Esthetica, the British Fashion Council's eco-sustainable initiative, believes this perception is changing and Watson is part of that. "We have to make ethical fashion available and interesting and glamorous for the public," she said. "Celebrity support is providing that platform."

Watson says she wants to create clothes for people of her own age, introducing younger lengths and fitted shapes to the People Tree brand. "Emma appeals to younger people and the collection has sold incredibly well on [online fashion outlet] Asos," said Safia Minney, founder of People Tree. "When clothes are worn by someone as lovely as Emma, it brings a whole new customer in."

Watson's previous collection, for autumn/winter 2010, will be for sale from Wednesday from People Tree. "Although I wasn't centrally involved in the design, I had a great fun in helping People Tree select some gorgeous Fairtrade textiles," she said. "There are even a few party dresses, such as the little black satin tulip dress which can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion."

The paradox is that while People Tree is relatively affordable – items cost as little as £20 – Watson is a highly visible fan of upmarket fashion and haute couture.

The pair became friends after the X Factor judge toured with the R&B group earlier this year, and Fergie said that Cole is going to "rule the world".

Fergie said: "She is such a good friend. But I don't think she has quite got her head around how big she is going to be.

The 35-year-old singer, who is married to Josh Duhamel, said that Cole has the potential to be as big as artists like Madonna and Mariah Carey.

She said: "Within five years we could be talking about Cheryl on the same level as we do Madonna or Mariah Carey."

Do you think that Cheryl Cole has the same talent as Mariah Carey or Madonna?

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has said that she thinks Cheryl Cole could be as big as Madonna.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror Fergie said, “She is such a good friend. But I don’t think she has quite got her head around how big she is going to be.”

“My girl really can rule the world. I have already heard crazy things like Robert De Niro wants to make movies with her and that Jay-Z wants to work with her.”

Fergie went on to say, “Within five years we could be talking about Cheryl on the same level as we go Madonna or Mariah Carey.”Fergie got to know Cheryl through fellow Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am and Cheryl also toured with the group on their tour this Summer.

Fergie Has Sun Damaged Skin

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has revealed she has damaged her skin by over doing the sunbathing.

The Imma Be Rocking That Body singer admits she now has to plaster herself with protective cream to stop any more problems to her skin.

"I'm a California girl. I used to be a sun worshipper," explains Fergie as she spoke with Us Weekly. "Now I'm trying to reverse the damage. "I wear sunscreen, SPF15 on my lips and I reapply La Mer eye cream as often as I remember. I've got to make up for lost time."

Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel recently talked about starting a family with the singer, revealing that he hopes they have two kids.

She's also excited to see Jennifer Lopez on American Idol now that she is a judge on the contest.

Fan tries to snog Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel

A fan tried to snog hunky actor Josh Duhamel - hubby of Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie - at the recent New York premiere of his movie Life As We Know It.

A source tells the New York Post: "The well-groomed stranger marched up to [Josh]... grabbed his neck and tried to start making out with him... A security guard had to pull her off and throw her out."

Mick Jagger's Moves Copied By Fergie

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger's influence has long been known to carry far and wide, and now Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie says that her dance moves are copied from the 67-year-old's distinctive onstage routine.

"I grew up with the Rolling Stones and they are my dad's favorite band. I've copied Jagger's moves for years!" Fergie told US Weekly.

The similarities between the two's performing styles were literally put on stage when they performed together last year at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden, joining U2 on stage to perform "Gimme Shelter.""It was electrifying to be up there with him with this crazy kinetic energy bouncing off each other because we are both nuts and so that was great," the 35-year-old "Glamour" singer said. "It was just organic . . . . That's why there's the dancing, spinning around. It's just kind of a whirlwind of excitement."

"That's something that I have always loved about him," Fergie continued to say of her mentor. "I tried to emulate that. And then to be able to do it up there with him was so great because I got to utilize his energy as well as mine. It was just magnetic."

Josh and Fergie looking forward to parenthood

"It's definitely part of the plan," Duhamel says of parenthood.

"We just need to be in the same city. It's just a matter of, like I said, when."

The 37-year-old actor, who tied the knot with the Black Eyed Peas singer in 2009, revealed they were thinking about a small brood.
"I just want a healthy, happy, little baby. That's it. I would like to have a boy and a girl ultimately, but I'll take whatever," he told Entertainment Tonight.

Fergie hits the right notes dazzling at star studded game!

Fergie went from dowdy to dazzling as she heated up the orange carpet for the Miami Dolphins season opener game on Sunday.

The Black Eyed Peas singer wore a cleavage baring leopard print dress that showed off her curves and toned legs.

She was attending the Dolphins versus New York Jets game at the Sun Life Stadium where she performed the national anthem with Marc Anthony.Just the day before Fergie was pictured arriving at Miami airport in a hideous kaftan dress and wide brim hat that belied the fact that she was an international superstar.

The NFL game brought major star power with Jennifer Lopez turning up to support her husband Marc and brought along their kids for to see their dad perform.

JLo is riding high after the announcement last week that she will be one of the new judges on the next season of American Idol.

Not so Glamorous: Fergie's fashion faux pas in TERRIBLE leopard print kaftan

She once sang about The Glamorous in her hit No.1 song.

But judging by her hideous outfit, Fergie could do with taking a leaf out of her own book.

The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman was pictured at Los Angeles LAX Airport yesterday, clad in a rather unflattering leopard print kaftan. The 35-year-old, who looked like she had raided the dressing up box, teamed the unfortunate flowing design with a large hat and sunglasses.

And things didn't improve much in the class stakes when she arrived to Miami Airport, as she chauffeured around in a tacky-looking pink buggy.

Fergie is in the Florida city to perform with Marc Anthony at Sunday's Miami Dolphins game against the New York Jets.

Fergie thinks Cole can rule the world

The Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, who became pals with the British beauty Cheryl Cole this summer when the Parachute hitmaker was the opening act on the group’s tour, thinks her pal could soon work with some of the world’s biggest movie and music stars.

She said, “She is such a good friend. But I don’t think she has quite got her head around how big she is going to be. My girl really can rule the world. I have already heard crazy things like Robert De Niro wants to make movies with her and that Jay-Z wants to work with her.”

Fergie even believes the Girls Aloud singer, who is rumoured to be joining the judging panel on the US X Factor when it launches next year, could reach the levels of stardom attained by pop superstars Madonna and Mariah Carey. She enthused to the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Within five years we could be talking about Cheryl on the same level as we go Madonna or Mariah Carey.”

Josh Duhamel on friends' values with starting family with Fergie

JOSH Duhamel is taking measures to ensure he has a solid circle of friends - because he knows he'll need support when he and wife Fergie start a family.

The actor married the Black Eyed Peas singer last year and the couple is hoping to have children in the near future.

And Duhamel is already thinking like a cautious family man - he wants to get rid of anyone in his life who will "use" his loved ones for personal gain."Maybe it's because of who I'm with, or what I do, but I'm careful about hanging out with people who have my - and our - best interests at heart; people who really care about me and my wife, and are not using me to help them in any way. I have some people like that in my life, and they have never been more important to me than right now," he tells Cosmopolitan magazine.

Fergie's still on safari

Fergie fans may have noticed the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman has gone on something of a fashion offensive in recent days.

The singer was pictured at Miami Airport yesterday wearing yet another animal print outfit - this time an inverted zebra striped top.

She teamed the look with green shorts and a wide brimmed hat - and looked almost perfectly attired to go on a safari trip, save for her strappy heels.RAt the weekend the 35-year-old star heated up the red carpet in a revealing leopard print gown at the Dolphins season opener game.

It was a marked improvement from her arrival, for which she wore a hideous animal print kaftan and huge hat, which belied the fact she is an international superstar.

On Sunday she performed the national anthem with Jennifer Lopez's husband Marc Anthony at the Sun Life Stadium for the Dolphins versus New York Jets game.
