Megan Fox fired for Hitler comment

Michael Bay reveals truth behind firing Megan Fox

It’s important to keep a few things in mind when you start a new job. In order to be successful, you should be dedicated and focused, show up on time and not tell the press that your boss wants to be Hitler. Megan Fox failed on all accounts.
Despite initial reports that Fox left the Transformers series on her own, Director Michael Bay is now coming clean. Months after the actress told a British magazine that Bay “wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for,” the team behind the Transformers franchise revealed all in an interview with GQ.

Bay revealed that Fox was always on her Blackberry, unfocused and disinterested. Screenwriter Ehren Kruger described the actress, saying, “She seemed like an actress who didn’t want to be a part of it.”

Even former co-star Shia LaBeouf acknowledged the issue. “Criticism is one thing. Then there’s public name-calling, which turns into high school bashing. Which you can’t do. She started s***-talking our captain.”

Bay also told GQ that firing Fox was ultimately executive producer Steven Spielberg’s decision, and that the Hitler comment definitely factored in. But the director isn’t letting Megan Fox get him down. “I wasn’t hurt, because I know that’s just Megan...I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy.”
