Guitar Hero Soundgarden has caught the media wave with their new album. The group signed a deal with the creators of the hit guitar game Guitar Hero to release their first album in 14 years via the game’s platform. The new album, titled Telephantism, will be released in its entirety in the game’s library, giving players the opportunity to use the songs during game-play.
The album will be featured on the latest version of the game, titled Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, which debuted early this week. The band’s front man Chris Cornell commented on the reason for the revolutionary release saying,“In the obvious way, it's going to reach a certain amount of younger people that either may or may not know about Soundgarden.
Soundgarden said that, I feel like releasing it this way is going to reach a lot of people who have not heard our music or have not heard a lot of it.
